Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Wedding Craft Ideas (“the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free tutorials, project ideas and technique guides about handmade wedding crafts for general information and personal enjoyment. It is not a wedding planning, floristry or event service, and nothing on it is professional advice. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not promise that every tutorial is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Paper, ribbon, glue and flowers vary, so the measurements and quantities in the tutorials are starting points to check with a test piece. Time estimates and make-ahead notes are approximate.

Safety and your own risk

Some projects use sharp or hot tools. Scissors, craft knives, wire cutters and glue guns can cause cuts and burns. The tutorials are written for adults, and you follow them at your own risk. You are responsible for using your tools according to their makers’ instructions, for working on a suitable surface such as a cutting mat, and for keeping tools and small parts away from children. If children help, an adult should do all cutting and hot gluing and stay with them throughout.

Paper, fabric, ribbon and dried flowers catch fire easily. Keep finished decorations away from open flames, heaters and hot lamps, and use battery-powered LED candles and lights wherever a project includes a light.

The decorations on this site are light pieces meant for display. We give no load or safety guarantees. You are responsible for how and where a decoration is hung or placed, for following the rules of your venue and for asking the venue before attaching anything to its walls, ceilings or furniture. Do not hang decorations over open flames or where they block a walkway or an exit, do not place paper, glue, wire or craft flowers on or in food or drink, and do not rely on a handmade piece in any situation where a failure could cause injury or damage.

Using our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Wedding Craft Ideas. You are welcome to:

  • read, print and use the tutorials for personal and other non-commercial purposes;
  • make any project for your own wedding, for someone else’s or as a gift, and adapt the size, colors and design however you like;
  • share a link to any page;
  • quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.

Please do not republish whole tutorials or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.

Garlands, place cards, favor boxes, bows and other common forms are not anyone’s property, and anyone is free to make them. Our rights relate to our own written instructions and illustrations, not to the general ideas behind them.

You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site links to a small number of third-party reference pages that we think are useful. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Wedding Craft Ideas is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from following its tutorials or from using anything you make from them. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
